WT665 - used my TH distressing tool to distress all of the edges of the card and then sponged ink on them.
MSP4 - I do not have many layering stamps, so I used my Misti to do the layering!! Started with a lucky clover green and stamped my trees. Cleaned my stamp without removing it from place on the Misti and stamped again with broken china!
I was inspired today looking out our patio windows on all our blue spruce trees with just a touch of light snow on them. But what first drew my attention was a blue jay swooping in and landing on the blue spruce, going in and out from one tree limb to the next!!
So this card is my Merry Christmas card to all SCS and sponsors here on the site. CCC17SCS!!
Hope you will make a card and dedicate it to all of your stamping friends here on SCS!! TFL!!
PS. I applied the white Nuvo drops when the ink on the trees was still wet! Looks so cool as it picked up the color!

I love those trees! When Winter comes, I love the green of the pines, and the smell too! Lovely card!

Wow, fabulous texture on this, Ann! Love the double-stamped trees. And envious of your bird sighting...we have jays here but they're not the same as yours, mostly soft brown and a little grey with blue just on their wings. I'd love to see a bluejay some time.

Beautiful trees. I have several in my back yard and they are so pretty in the winter with snow on them. Your card with the distressed edges and snowy bg is just gorgeous!

Wowza Ann I love the layers on those trees! Great colors. Stunning card with the trees and the textures. The distressing works beautifully. Thank you so much for playing along.
