Sabrina's this week's WTUI challenge. Her challenge Try a Tutorial will have you trying something new. Hope you'll play along!!
I free hand cut the Christmas tree and followed the Glowing Lights technique, and I love how it came out! Wrapped the tree in gold thread, added some punched foil for ornaments and stamped and fussy cut a pot. I stamped and colored the Gorjuss Girl, cut away the books she was standing on and added some free hand cut presents for her to stand on. Adhered pp to the card base and some embossed kraft paper for a rug. Stamped and die cut the sentiment, rubbed gold gelato on the edges. TFL

Wow, what a lot you have put into this card! Love your handmade tree with the gold metallic thread, punch gold ornaments, and "glowing lights" ornaments...very clever! Great 3-dimension on your ladder of presents...I can never draw and get angles correct...I applaud you! Cute little image and coloring...wow...love just everything about this!

Carla, this is spectacular! What a neat tutorial that I've never seen before! I love the scene you've created. Reminds me of two little boys that I know...

What a wonderfully festive looking Christmas tree. The lights are one of my favourite things on a tree, I think it's hard to have too many. Except last year when I was too exhausted to do a big tree, and I couldn't fit all my lights on the little tree DH bought for me. The little Gorjuss girl is just adorable.
