Karen has challenged us to use either gold and white or silver and white today--plus sparkles for dessert. This will be a lovely gallery!
I chose gold and white, because my parents will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on December 23rd. I always struggle with 50th anniversary cards because I think they should be really special, but then I don't know how to make them really really special. So I'm not completely happy with this. It's nice, but I'm just not sure it's nice enough.

I think this is a stunning 50th anniversary card! It is so fun and so celebratory and all sparkly and shiny too. I really adore this big label you put right on front that says happily ever after. They will love this card- I promise! My parents will be celebrating 55 years on December 22nd so lots of good things in December.

I know what you are saying about those special anniversaries but I don't think you have to be concerned about this card! I really love the row of flowers behind that absolutely perfect sentiment panel! The big font '50' looks wonderful embossed in gold! ... and your photography skills are great - I can see all that wonderful shine and sparkle!

This is just lovely Jen - I would never have thought to add the golden flowers but they work so well to exude the joy of such an accomplishment - They really do seem to be dancing in the background !! Best wishes to your folks for "getting it right"!!
