I made this card for this week's Letter O Alphabet Challenge. The O in my card is for the ornament dies I used. The double challenge was to talk about the inks we used. I used SU Pool Party Ink on the raised portions of the trees on the embossed bg and I sponged many, layers of SU Pool Party and Island Indigo Ink onto the blue ornament die. This card also fit's this week's Ways To Use It Challenge which is to use our leftovers. Every item on this card with the exception of the Merry Christmas Dies is a scrap or leftover of some kind. The blue ornament has sat on my desk for a couple of years (at least!) and I have hated that ornament since I made it! Then I had these snowflakes lying on my desk and they landed on top of this ornament die and I had an ah ha moment. The pine branch and snowflakes were die cut from white cs, added Zig 2-way glue pen to the die cuts and poured Art Glitter Crystal Translucent glitter on top and let set. I have always struggled to use my scraps so I really appreciate this challenge because I used up several items on my desk in order to make this card. Yay! Thanks for looking today. ~Karen.

Karen, this is gorgeous! You are so talented, what a beautiful blue Christmas card you have made! Your ornament is beautiful, the snowflakes add pop to it, and I love the sparkle. Beautiful card!

I love that white glistening pine branch. This is wonderfully rustic with the e.f. and romantic and elegant with the silver glimmer paper behind your ornament and sentiment. Love your little peek of dsp with that border diecut. Seriously you have the best dies! The snowflakes are a nice touch and I would not have thought to do that. This is just lovely, Karen. A great "O" card for the challenges and ways to use it too!
Love, love this! Of course I love the color! LOL. But also love how you did the sentiment die with glittery paper under it, and white branch and the EF! Love everything about it!

Your snowflakes work so Perfectly on your pretty blue ornament, Karen! An Ah Ha moment that went right! ; ) There's your pretty sparkly pine branch, this time in white...I love it! I really like the way you added the plaid to the top and bottom and you gave direction to your ornament's tip by adding the solid die-cut; very well done, mf! ~Hugs
