The background started as a gelli print using white paint and reinkers. It looked a bit flat. I pulled an old SU background stamp, I believe it's called Sanded and stamped with Versamark and embossed in silver. I love that the silver embossing actually seemed to pick up the color of the background. I inlaid the tree and added nail heads to all the intersecting lines. A few stitches added a bit more texture. I topped it off with a Swarovski crystal bead. Thanks so much for looking.

I was thinking about your tags yesterday and couldn't wait to see what you would do this year, Nancy! I'd never thought of heat embossing the background stamp, but I'll be trying it now! Love the silver tree and the way you've done the tie with the crystal! This is gorgeous!

Just gorgeous, Nancy. The greenish bg has a wonderful oxidized metals look. The silver tree looks beautiful against the bg. The little crystal and star are perfect additions. Spectacular tag.

Your background is absolutely amazing, Nancy! So much texture and the colors are fantastic. I think it was brilliant to add nail heads to the tree; you always know the perfect touch to add to take your projects from wonderful to WOW!
