I stamped the truck & presents onto white cardstock with Tuxedo Black ink. I colored them with my Prismacolor pencils, using Gamsol to blend the colors. I die cut the pieces with the coordinating dies, and used a craft knife to cut out the front window from the truck. (The die cuts out the side window.) Finally, I went around the edges of the die cuts with a black brush-tip marker, since the die cuts right to the edge of the images.
I cut a piece of mixed media paper in an arch shape, using my flexible ruler to help me draw the curved edge. I inked it with Distress inks to create a sunset look. I adhered it to a panel of white cardstock that I'd inked with black, to continue the sky look. I added stars with a white gel pen, letting them fade out towards the lighter area.
For a road, I used a piece of washi tape, and backed it with white cardstock. I adhered that to a black cardstock strip, and adhered that & my background to a white card base. Finally, I glued my truck & presents in place, and stamped & heat embossed the greeting.
