Oh my! I made my first interactive card - ever! What fun! I used the video instructions from Allison Cope's "Inspire Me Monday" blog post found here, and it worked! The newest digital release from Power Poppy, Gingerbread Family, was the inspiration I needed to make this spinner card...what a tickle!
I decided to use the front and back of the gingerbread man and found some DP that worked. I used fine embroidery thread to sandwich between the layers, and then I used Ally's instructions from her video. They are perfect, and I had such fun making it. I added a little banner with the sentiment and some buttons to finish it off. And the big news is that I did my first video to show how the little gingerbread boy spins! It's on my blog, and I'm feeling sort of proud! Hehe!
Thanks so much for taking a closer look, and I hope you have a beautiful rest of the week! Hugs, sweet friend!! xoxo
(Note: I must confess that I have had this card on my table, and I continue to blow on the gingerbread man just to see him spin! I am still delighted at how it really works...haha! Guess I'm still a kid at heart yet...and hope always to be!)

The perfect man you’ve created. I like how he will spin. Interactive cadds are my favorite. You’ve give me an idea for my back and front stamps. I love the coloring on your cookie. The plaid background is a nice twist from the gingham.

Good enough to eat, Cheryl! : ) Love your little gingerbread Santa man.. Clever layout with him suspended and surrounded by a great looking plaid. A warm and cheery Christmas card.

I love this adorable spinning gingerbread man. A funny little ditty came into my head (must be from my days in my kindergarten classroom)!
"spin, spin as fast as you can, you'll get so dizzy you won't leave the pan."
I am sorry sometimes these little humor rhymes just pop up!! We always had such a time with our gingerbread man we would make. He ran off.
