Had a little bit of time before work and thought to myself "hey, let's due a BAJ page that looks like old parchment and put some hidden pumpkins in it." Very weird thought, I know. I had limited time and this is what I got. I plan to do it over again with a real life example to go by and more than 15 minutes to spare.
I started with one of the precious blank pages in my journaling bible. I stamped some Filigree pumpkins all around the page. Then I sponged on a light coat of ink, then a darker coat on the edges, until I got to the darkest ink color. Then I still felt it needed something so I stenciled on some left over ink - probably should have skipped that step but.....too late.
Then I just wrote the first thing that popped in my mind and then added the verse from 2 Timothy 3.
The Bible is very old, but it has a magical ability to reach out and grab us when we need it,to stay hidden in our heart to be pulled out in desperate or joyful times, to be a lighthouse and guide us in a storm, or a signpost to make sure we stay or get back on the right course. An amazing thing. God is Amazing.
