For Dina's Falliday Fest Challenge, I chose Stamping with Gelatos as my Technique. It is one I have never tried ... and I can't remember the last time I used my Gelatos.
I updated the technique by using my MISTI. I started with light blue ... the moved to darker blue, red, and finally orange blending and overlapping the colors as I stamped. I was able to spray and color with my gelatos multiple times until the background was completely stamped.
I created a sympathy card for a family whose teenage son recently lost his lengthy battle with depression. I wanted the card to celebrate his life and the strong love the family had for him.

I am with you I don't use my Gelatos often enough either. This is a technique I have not tried yet and I love how it came out. Super fun leaves you added as well. Nicely done on Dina's challenge with this beauty.

Beautiful, comforting card.

I love this card, and again this is a technique (and medium) I haven't used for a long time - there is a boldness and strength that comes through, and I hope that in itself will be a comfort to the family it's being sent to. Thank you for playing along with my challenge for Falliday Fest!

The rainbow effect you achieved with this background will be a nice symbolism of continuing on for the family the card will go to. I'm sure they will appreciate your wonderful card!
