| | Here is my card for this week's color challenge. I do not own any of the ink colors suggested so I came as close as I could. I love Tim Holtz Distress inks, but not for stamping because they are blotchy. I was frustrated stamping with the twisted citron so I double stamped some of the leaves to give a little depth to the image and also to cover up the blotchy stamping. Miss Boo indicated that she is using her older stamps and the summer silhouettes stamp set I have has hardly seen any ink at all so I decided to pull this out and see what I could do in about 10 minutes. This was fun and easy to do and I may make a few more of these cards to have on hand. This color combination is certainly one I would never have thought to use, and I am suprised how much I like it! The sentiment stamp "dribbled" ink where it should not have so that is why there are some well-placed copper sequins. Thanks for looking today! ~Karen |
