It's been such a long time since I've made a card. I decided to try last weeks TLC challenge and love it! I dyed the tissue paper with distress inks and glued to the white cardstock. Then I rubbed the wrinkles with versamark and applied champagne ep. I'm really pleased with the result and am trying more combinations. The leaf was cut from brushed gold cardstock, attached to the BG and the rest of the sentiment was embossed on white. This is for a dear friend's birthday in October. Thanks so much for looking! It feels good to be back to stamping!

I like the way you stuck the crinkled tissue to the card base letting the white card show...very effective. I trimmed mine, but I really like the look of this. Those colours would make a great Christmas card. I'm glad you enjoyed Loll's video and the challenge. It's one of those addictive techniques ;-).

I loved this technique too. Your gold accents along with the RED and green for the Fall apples are wonderful, Sue. That big leaf outline is marvelous.......and what a terrific saying you added. Love it all!! And so glad to see you carding again!

Your card is terrific using this technique. I've got to try it because everyone's cards are beautiful using it. Love the background and the leaf outline too.

Wow, this is great re-entry into stamping! Love the outline diecut maple leaf over top of your amazing tissue paper background. This is a work of art and sure to please your friend on her birthday. Nicely done....and you've inspired me to check out the tissue paper background technique. TFS!
