I was inspired by our FS Beverly's card Foxy Birthday Plaid (Foxy Birthday Plaid by ruby-heartedmom at Splitcoaststampers) with its perky plaid dp. I used a forest stamp set to create my scene, adding a striped background for contrast. Made my own "plaid dp" with striped dp and an orange marker.

How cute & happy this is, Julia! Love all your forest critters & the wonderful colors. I say forest, but we've had all but the porcupine come visit our backyard. We even had a black bear a few weeks ago.

Good for you making your plaid dp....something I haven't tried. Love all your little animals and the sentiment on your tree.

Your plaid bg turned out great! I also loved your striped colors background. The forest animals are sweet and fun. They remind me of when we lived in the country in Alabama.
