I created this card for my SIL for her birthday. I stamped the images onto white cardstock with Charcoal ink, and colored them with my Prismacolor pencils. I used a black glaze pen to go over the eyes & noses on the critters, & colored the dog to look like one of their dogs. To create the box card itself, I followed the instructions in a post I found online: http://www.bibicameron.co.uk/2016/11...-box-card.html. It was really pretty easy to do! The hardest part of the project was probably fussy cutting the images. And waiting for glue to dry! For the greeting, I stamped on white cardstock with Charcoal ink, then die cut with the "Mini Vintage Label" die. I inked the edges with Picked Raspberry, just so it wouldn't be more white-on-white. I stamped the balloons by inking up the stamp with a pink Tombow marker, spritzing with water, and stamping onto Mixed Media paper. I then dried off the stamp, inked up just one side with a darker pink marker, spritzed it, and stamped over the first image to add shading. (I did use my MISTI, so I didn't have to worry about alignment!) I repeated that for the second balloon, then die cut them with the coordinating die. I ended up trimming off a bit from both die cut balloons, because I had apparently placed the die slightly offset, so there is no white border after all. I tied white crochet thread around the bottom of each balloon for the balloon string. I squeezed a little Multi Medium Matte onto my finger, and ran each string through that between my fingertips. Then I wrapped the strings around the handles of 2 paintbrushes and let them sit until the adhesive had dried, so they would have some curl to them. Finally I glued all my images to the box inserts, and glued the balloons & greeting to the front. My SIL was really impressed, I'm happy to say!

Oh my gosh, this is beyond adorable. I love every itty bitty inch and thank you so much for describing the process. I'm so glad your SIL was impressed, I sure am!
