This is another one for the Free 4 All Challenge - encouragement cards and the second of the two sympathy cards I needed. I wanted to utilize the same stamp set for both cards because it's new to me and I want to be using it. I thought the two recipients might see each other's cards, so I wanted to make the cards look different. (Why do we worry about such things?) I looked in the gallery for ideas and found this beautiful card made by Susanbri that gave me the inspiration I needed:
I loved how Susan used white on white layers, so I kept that part. I changed the colors, the embossing folder, the sentiment and did not use a stitching die. Thanks Susan for sharing your beautiful cards with us and for inspiring mine! Thanks for looking!

What a lovely sympathy card Diane. The simple CAS design showcases the pretty floral image perfectly. Perfect choice for the ef. I have so many and forget to use them.

Thanks so much for your lovely comments Diane, especially as it lead me back to your terrific gallery. This is so beautiful, I can sure see why it is in CAS Favs of the Week. Hope you have a happy, inky week.
