Congrats to Beth, Scrapbook4ever, for being the FS this week. Her use of color is amazing. So I wanted to use a bunch of color and started out with orange in my head, but it never came out....
Wonder how I can be drawn to color and love color and start to use it but always end up with neutral? In this case maybe because coffee is so neutral? Even pumpkin spice flavor and cream are neutral.
I really did start with an idea of doing lots of orange like this card, but it never happened but I did end up with cool designs like she has on her ornament and a fun bg and some layering.....
I made my bg by stamping the new DRS Designs Filigree Pumpkin image 42,000 times (an old Mothermark number - boy I miss her) and then sprinkling a bunch of gold glitter and white frontage and heating it up. You can't see the gold in this picture, but it looks awesome IRL. Messed up my sentiment so I stamped the pumpkin lightly on the sentiment panel too.
Great gallery to case and look through - congrats Beth - hope you enjoy how your wonderful creations inspire others.

Seems full of rich texture! Love that you had something different in mind yet were led into neutrals. Funny how we arrive at an unplanned destination sometimes in our stampy zones!

Ha! Look at all that orange. LOL! Fabulous texture and patterns in this anyway. Funny thing is, Orange is my absolute favorite color and I rarely use it in my cards...

I love your colour choices, and the texture on your background is just great! I can imagine the gold and I'm certain that it adds an extra pop of elegance and sparkle. Love the depth on your sentiment, having it popped up and embossing or scoring on the edges. Beautiful card!
