This week's challenge is all about lighthouses. We have them located in many small communities along the lakeshore. This is a card for my daughter's birthday. Along with her husband, they do a great amount of fishing on Lake Michigan for salmon and trout. She loves the lighthouses along the shores.
Started by embossing the stamped image, and also did the embossing folder. Finished by adding the sentiment with pen and ink. TFL

This has the look of a night with a full moon, Linda!!Beautiful! The DH and I watch the lighthouses along Lake Michigan via webcams. We love to see them coated with ice in the winter, and when the storms have the waves crashing against the shore!

White embossing on any dark color makes such an elegant card, Linda. Your DD will love this, I'm sure.

What a beautiful card. Love how you positioned your image so you could add your hand lettering.

I'm glad that the challenge let you create such a suitable and beautiful card for your daughter, Linda. I wonder is that the Boston Light that I was reading about. The monochromatic treatment and embossed frame are so effective.
