Yahoo! A triple challenge creation, and I even got it done before the new Wednesday sketch challenge! :-) my oldie but goodie ways to use it choice is Gamsol Magic, one of my all-time favorites. It is really hard to see in this picture, because the low evening indoor lighting is terrible for showing such things, but it's a nice subtle addition to this card. Not wanting the finished look to be quite so simple, though, I added black flocking to the cows spots for some texture.
The color scheme for last week's color challenge was indeed a challenge for me, as once again it took me out of my comfort zone. By leaving the black as just the border accents, I think this card turned out much more my style!
Thanks so much for looking and the great challenges this time around!

I bet the flocking looks great, what a fun addition. The distressed wood paper is a great background for your cute cow. I rarely do colour challenges as they freeze me in my tracks, but when I do, I always remind myself that I don't have to use lots of all the colours, even a tiny pop of one of them meets the brief. So black matting works for me!

What a fun card, I really like the distressed wood paper behind your udderly cute cow. I'm sure the black flocking looks great in real life too. Very fun card.
