This week the Featured Stamper is Rachel, aka stampinrachel. Rachel has a fantastic gallery full of wonderful SU! creations and inspiration! I had a few cards in mind for casing, but went with this one... Hello Friend - Daisy Card by stampinrachel at Splitcoaststampers
I kept the flower theme, but went with the ragged daisy, and only one of them. I colored all the daisy parts using Brusho's. When almost dry I shape the petals and leaves, the flower center goes in the ef and gets embossed. I guess I made the daisy look like a coneflower. I also added another set of leaves by cutting that part and gluing to the back of the main stem.
Congratulations to you, Rachel!! Enjoy your week in the spotlight!

Wowzers! this is one stunning card. Love what you did with the flower petals. The dimension is amazing. The background is perfect to display this super flower. TFS

Jennifer, this is incredible! I would call it "paper sculpture" in the way that you fashioned this fantastic bloom. Your background watercolor sky is lovely too and the back embossed panel adds another layer of texture. Really a very special card.
