Having spent my teen years living in the 70's I just had to make time to play in Wendy's F4A Challenge. My first thought was to make a collage style card and I opted for the fashion of the decade, mainly choosing those tops, jeans, shoes & handbags I, myself, had and wore! With the help of the internet, I cropped, and cropped, and arranged these images onto white c/s. I then distressed the edges and sponged the edges and over the top of the pictures with Pumice Stone ink. I particularly remember owning a pair of the heels on the top left and loving them! Also, the halter neck tops top right were a favourite, too!!
I hope this card revives many memories for those of you looking who also grew up in the 70's! I think I might send this to my BF who shared the teen years with me.
TFL!

Definitely revives memories, but the funny part is other than the make up case, all the clothes are in style now. Great card and super fun.

Oh wow Sue, thanks for all the memories. I had/wore all of these things. I had completely forgotten about the sherred elastic top. How on earth did we run for the train wearing those fabulous cork platform shoes!!! What a great decade hey. Straight into My Favs.

Brilliant, Sue! This is awesome! I missed the 70s having been born in 1980 but I remember all those things. Not like everyone just threw out their 70s stuff once the 80s came around. Seriously this is so fun!

What a clever way to meet the challenge. I missed out on many of these though I did wear big collars like that, bell bottoms in funky patterns and even a halter top every now and again.

That make up case caught my eye....I think I envisioned having one of those and taking it on a trip..well, never got one but I do remember that hard sided luggage...gross. I had bell bottoms and a halter top like one of those (maybe not quite that skimpy)...I don't know how you could walk on those shoes Sue. What a fun card..thanks for the trip down memory lane

The 70's definitely had very unique & stylish garb! I absolutely loved flared/elephant ear pants! Being only 5 foot tall, I had several pair of platform shoes just so I could wear those pants!
Fabulous card!!!

Great card! I still remember all the bell bottom pants, and I am tall and still had to wear platform shoes!! Your card certainly takes me back to SF and many memories! TFS a terrific card!

I think we're probably very close in age. I love your card and what it reminds me of. I had the halter tops, bell bottom jeans, and a macrame belt. It was a good time. I loved the music and the TV shows. It seems there was nothing to really worry about back in those days
