The son of one of my best friends turns 18 this week. My word, how did that happen! Doesn't seem like that long since he was bringing his Sylvanian Families over to our house and always losing the tiny apples from the picnic basket!
I used the Watercolour Imprints tutorial. Watercolour paper swiped with DOX inks (fossilized amber, wild honey, vintage photo), misted and then I laid a Carabelle stencil on top. When dry I stamped the image and sentiment, and added a few cogs and a black line border. A little drop of SN glitter pen in each corner finishes it off. Time to mail it tomorrow...

I love this card - the faded/rusty looking patina of your background is awesome - perfect masculine styling!
