FabFriday's challenge #120 was a color challenge. The colors were: tangerine tango, tranquil tide, lemon lime twist, and peekaboo peach. The design team did wonderful samples for us to view. One thing I discovered when putting the pieces in the quilt: make a backing piece in the same color as the outline. That way, if the pieces don't exactly match, it will not be noticeable. Another revelation was to use the adhesive sheet cut to the size of the backing piece. Lay it down with the sticky side up and build your quilt on that including outline.
I will be using this same design, but in different colors for stamp class this month.

I love the classic quilt pattern paired up with our fresh fall colors! Great balance with the colors and I like the simple sentiment to finish it off! Thanks for sharing at Fab Friday!
