This will be sent to our son for Christmas this year and I have to get things done early. The photo corners will hold a small Polaroid style photo from an Instamax camera. but, I'd guess it will also hold a visa gift card too. ( have not tried that yet) still chasing our dog to hold still for a mug shot. There is a look at the tied closed view here.

Ooh, I like the rich warm colours you've used, and what a nest idea to have the photo/gift card inside. The panel width could always be modified if you needed a little extra width
Personally I went straight to my dies as I have very few border punches and they certainly don't cut anything thicker than DP.
