Even though it is my anniversary, I sent my DH off to play his bimonthly D & D with our son and some friends. He had missed the last one because we spent the night at a local inn in a lovely seacoast town. So I figure he paid his dues and after 44 years of marriage, we compromise.
So my stamping buddy came over and we cranked the heat up on the cottage porch (it is about 46 degrees tonight!) and played with stamps. I used another one of my new Penny Black stamps. I stamped onto Crumb Cake CS with white craft ink and then used my color pencils to color the image. I thought I was using this week's challenge colors, but mixed up the two options for my own unique take on them. I cut the main panel into three strips (for the Ways to Use it Challenge) and let part of the image hang over just a bit. I matted this with some Very Vanilla CS and then layered that onto a folded Tangerine Tango card. I added a die cut dragonfly from the SU die that coordinates with the Dragonfly Dreams set for today's Free for All Challenge.. .

Happy Anniversary!!! Wow! 44! That's awesome! So sweet of you to let your DH go off and play on your anniversary. I can see my DH and I doing something similar. We are always celebrating a different day anyway since he works for an airline and has an interesting schedule! I love your beautiful flowers and the pretty dragonfly! Oh...46 degrees. I am almost wishing for that. It's very muggy here!
