I used today's colors and yesterdays fun Try a New Technique challenge - making a Screen Divider card using cream card, two shades of brown and close to tranquil tide colors!
I punched the top with a Martha Stewart lattice punch and used the SU Curly Label punch along the bottom for the legs.
I stamped the Tim Holtz dogs and colored them using Tombow markers, spreading the color around with a clear glitter Wink of Stella pen. It's sort of like watercoloring and makes everything glittery!
I adhered tulle inside the Peek a Boo window die cut out and layered the dogs over it. I found a great tutorial by Jennifer McQuire on YouTube
I hadn't seen this Screen Divider tutorial before. It was so easy to do and looks so impressive!!

Gorgeous punch for the top! I think those sparkly dogs must be huge fun to see. And what great paper, it both gives the effect of grass and sky and carries through on the punched lattice. What a lovely anniversary verse too - this card will be a delight to whatever lucky couple you give it to. I'm glad you had fun with the challenge, Julia.

This turned out SO adorable!!! I love the punch you used for the top portion. I tried this technique challenge also, but didn't have a fun punch to use at the top. Your card turned out great for both challenges.

What a sweet Anniversary screen divider card. I love the Crazy Dogs, the sentiments, and all the hearts. The top punching is pretty. Today's colors work nicely for your card too.

Well this couldn't be any sweeter, Julia....what a wonderful sentiment!! I hadn't pulled that MS border punch out for years....and as soon as I used it, I remembered why.....it's so hard to use. I expected my hands to be bruised today!! It does make a beautiful border though! Lovely to see you in the gallery today!

...sure its got a catchy beat, but can you stamp to it?
