WELL can I just say I absolutely positively HATE this card??? bahahaha. You win some, you lose some, and I HATE this puppy. I have had the kind of week it's a miracle I got anything made at all....but I do seriously hate it but had no time to go for plan b. There is a pretty quilt card in my head to replace this one that would be in the circular file if I had more time, but it never made it to paper. You win some, you lose some, but it's been a long time since I made a card that I hate as much as this one. haha. I may delete it in the end, but I did make the effort - A for effort, right? Happy Tuesday everyone!

Oh, Karen, so sorry you hate your card! I think it's fabulous!! When I clicked on the thumbnail, I thought, wow, that is a gorgeous card! But if you hate it, that is what matters!!

Oh dear Karen! I'm with Robin ... you are too hard on yourself for sure. Emeralds & Rubys can be just as beautiful as diamonds, my dear! I really like the 'natural', almost country feel of this!

There have been cards I made that I wasn't fond of; we all go through this, Karen. I like the doily under your square since it gives a feminine feel along with the pretty bouquet of flowers, but then there's the hardwood in the bg & textured twine to give it a country feel! I hope you don't plan to trash this one because someone would be overjoyed to receive it~ Your work is Always A-mazing!

And an A for posting something you didn't like. I like the die cut flowers and the doily behind it. I agree we all have days that we just don't have our most creative game on. That's okay - shows your human. We still love you!! :>)

Why are we always so hard on ourselves, Karen?!?! I love this card! Honestly! The flowers are lovely against that woodgrain background, and the greeting is a perfect tie-in with the flowers. So pretty!

Had to smile at your semi-rant about your card....and it really isn't that bad at all You are obviously a person who "carries on". I think most honest card makers would tell you not everything is a "masterpiece"...there are "dud bunnies" here and there. (Mine just end up in the "circular file" and I just grab a new piece of paper) : )
