So, today's Free for All has us making up our own National Day of _____________. I declare "Use Up Your Leftovers" day! I periodically sort my scraps and unused images and sentiments into piles by color and try to make cards from the leftover pieces. This was stuff from the neutrals pile! The River Rock bg piece (still one of my all-time favorite colors) has a faint embossed pattern from being used as a sandwich piece when I pressed another in an MBossabilities ef. The Vintage Ladies are not perfectly stamped but I'm using them anyway (time to unmount this one and use it in my MISTI for better images!). I tore them out and used the frame piece on an angle. I had the piece of trim and decided the flowers would make a good accent. They were stamped using the Rock N Roll method so I fussy cut and layered them. I had a foam circle that wasn't sticky anymore but I just used glue dots to use that to pop the flower up over the trim piece. The script piece was on an index card (who knows why) and was over stamped in several places so I just tore a strip. I wanted a bit more of the black but didn't want a black base so I cut the center out of this piece after distressing the edges with a scissors. Fun challenge and I hope to make more !

I really like your vintage ladies and the frame you used around them. What a great idea for your national day.

So fashionable! Very cool and eclectic, I love that wrinkly crinkly brow paper, sort of looks corrugated but different...it is amazing! Thanks for playing!

wow, what a beautiful vintage looking card... Love all the torn papers and the colours to depict a vintage look... thank you so much for the prayers... I really need them after 6 surgeries, 20 chemo and 30 radiation in the last year... hopefully I am done now... looking forward to remission and not feeling so tired all the time.
