I am still trying to build up my stash as we gear up to start a Celebrate Recovery ministry and I will be in charge of sending cards. I love today's colors and thought they'd work with a technique that I love called either inlaid or inset embossing. I cut my white pieces 3 3/4"x5" and then punched a bunch of circles with punches and a few with dies. To do the offset circles or rings, I start by punching the smaller inside circle then line my larger punch around that the punch the ring. I then glued these down and cleaned up any excess glue. Then I run it through the Big Shot in the square lattice ef and like magic, it makes the shapes look as if they are inlaid into the white. I then framed with one of the colors and die cut my sentiment in the colors. These went onto white card bases. I'm putting this in Vicki's DTGD challenge as I'm finishing up the challenges that I had ideas for but no time to execute. The lime paper is shimmery and glossy as I don't have the new SU colors yet. Here's the tutorial from Lyssa Zwolanek that I learned the technique from many years ago now!

Absolutely love the colors you used on this, and that technique is one I'll try! Beautiful card!

Fabulous! I haven't done inlaid embossing for awhile; time to try it again!
