Between interruptions and my fussiness, this was an all day project. I started by creating the rectangle panel with a diagonal stripe stencil sponging fossilized amber and spritzing with water. Next I made an imprint using the leftover ink on the stencil turning the opposite direction to create a plaid look, and I added some walnut stain to incorporate the look of the basket. I stamped the pears on a table scrap that had cracked pistachio and broken china, (and the pear on the right also had some spiced marmalade) DOX inks and painted in more color with peeled paint, fossilized amber and walnut stain. I fussy cut both pears and die cut the utensils from some dsp. I used dimensionals to pop-up the pears.

Super creation and I see why it took a while to do it. Love the added pears and utensils.

Truly ART, Julie. Love everything about it and I can understand why this wasn't whipped out in 1/2 an hour. Love the bg as well as your realistically colored pears.
