Audrie gave us the Fitbit blog for inspiration today. I didn't even get as far as looking at it as I spotted her first thumbnail and immediately thought of a scrap of tissue paper I'd coloured with Distress Oxide inks that was lingering in my box of unused bits. The colours were perfect.
It was done by putting the DOX on my craft sheet, spritzing with water, and smooshing the tissue paper into it, drying between colours.
I hadn't thought I'd ever use it as it's not my normal colour combination but the photo totally inspired me to get it out.
I glued it onto a piece of cs then die cut the flowers. I went over the stems with a green marker.
For a background, I lightly sponged some of the Picked Raspberry through a stencil, added a sentiment, cut a second flower to layer under the first for extra dimension, and popped it up on fun foam.
It was good to be back in my craft room after being away for a week!
