I love to make wreaths and thought it would be fun to make a haunted wreath today. Fussy cut a Christmas image with foliage, sponged it with Smoke Distress Ink and glittered up the berries with black glitter. It didn't look spooky enough so I added some gnarly limbs. Then I painted up some corrugated cardboard with Black Acrylic Paint and added the wreath, a zombie hand and sign, and an embossed hat.
I messed up the corner of the main panel so I stamped a spider web and made a little corner to cover it up.
I bought my first Halloween Candy this week - some candy corn. Limited time to get that every year so you have to buy it right?

I have learnt about so many new things as a Splitcoastie, one of them being Candy Corn. Nancy I would love to sit at your kitchen counter, sample some candy corn and watch you create magic with corrugated cardboard! Everything about this is fabulous!!!

This wreath is AMAZING! I so enjoyed reading about your process of creating it. And that spider web is an awesome save, because it looks fantastic up in that corner. So well done, Nancy, I love everything about this card!

Oh, this is deliciously frightful indeed! I giggled out loud when I saw this wonderful Halloween wreath with the hand, zombie sign and witches hat. Too fun! Yes, candy corn has a very short "season" indeed so it is best to get it early when it tastes the best! ~Karen.

I just happened to see this on the gallery Nancy and what a display you have made. I LOVE your wreath and all the little creepy things you added to it. The texture is always AMAZING! P.S. I'm not coming to your house b/c this wreath will scare me; but, hmmm...the candy corn must make me rethink that!!!

Terrific & creative. Love the green hand reaching up next to the 'beware of zombies' sign. Wonderful texture. The candy corn got you in the mood for some spooky fun. Great job! TFS
