This is my card for the Letter I Alphabet Challenge. The I's in my card are Island Indigo Ink and CS and the word Inspire. I placed my fern stamp in the MISTI stamping tool and inked it up with 3 colors of ink, then misted it well with water and stamped the image onto watercolor paper. This technique is like magic for me so I immediately made another card front just like this one because I was having so much fun. The sentiment was harder to do because it is done in 3 steps. The word inspire is from the same JustRite Fern stamp set, but the words you and me come from 2 separate PTI sentment stamps. So I placed the first sentiment stamp into the MISTI and masked off all the words surrounding the word you, then inked up the word you, removed the postit note masks and stamped it. The image was too light so I had to do this again. Then I placed my 2nd sentiment stamp into the MISTI and masked all the words off around the word me, inked up the word me, and stamped it. Again, it was too light so I had to repeat this process. I will admit getting the words you and me stamped were a bit stressful, but in the end, I am very pleased with this. I am sending this card to my dad who has always inspired me a great deal and I wanted to say so before it is too late. Thanks for loooking today! ~Karen.

Oh my Gosh, Karen, the colors you chose for this fern are so Perfect and look so pretty together! I don't blame you for stamping another one right away! So sorry you had such trouble with the sentiment, but it really doesn't look like you did. Glad you persisted because I love the way it came together! Bless you, my friend~

Honestly, this is one of the prettiest cards I've ever seen. I'm going to sit at my craft area this morning and CAS it. Into my Favorites. Amazing and so well done, Karen.
