I've used Jeanne's Dare to Get Dirty Challenge to help me jump start my cards for the Freetown Historical Society Fundraiser. They have an Open House in September and I donate cards for them to raise money. We are best known for our State Forest (lots of spooky legends surrounding it), so I like to make trees, forests, leaves, etc. on my cards. My main trouble is that "Freetown" is made of two parts--East Freetown and Assonet. So people who live in Assonet prefer to have stuff that says "Assonet." I already have Facebook friends asking if I'm making Assonet ones too. And, yes, as a proud Assonet resident I will. LOL.
I made this card using Lovely As A Tree and "stamping" the spotted leaves using a Q-Tip dipped in Distress Paint. Fun result!

Ingenious use of Q-tips! I use Swisspers cosmetic applicators for the Gamsol Magic technique, so this is a tip (pun intended) that I'll keep in mind - thanks! Oh - and pretty card, too... ;)
