A sample caqrd for the S2S17FF challenge of today to make a centre step card. It also fits Joanne's (sleepyinseattle) DTGD challenge.
I used the tutorial found here: Center Step Card Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers
And found it to be a very easy card to make. I used two sded dp from a pack I received in 2008 and do not remember the manufacturer. Cut, scored and folded the card base (the plain side) and used the patterned side of the paper for the panels. Using a coordinating blue paper from the same pack, I die cut the flowers, oval and butterflies, and adhered them. The sentiment was stamped with the two different inks, with the MISTI, as the first stamping was too light. Added half pearls to the flowers and this card was finshed.

Beautiful card. Excellent example of this card fold technique. Love the poem. Looks pretty in the die-cut oval. Very lovely butterflies. Terrific take on both challenges. TFS

The center step fold design is a beautiful showcase for the Serenity prayer, so beautifully done. Love everything about this, the paper, die cuts and sweet butterflies.
Thanks for adding this gorgeous card to the challenge gallery, Ina!

Oh, Ina, what a fantastic center-step card! I love the Serenity Prayer as the main feature on the center of the card! The flowers, pearls, and butterflies are fantastic additions! The designer paper is so gorgeous! Great card, Ina!!
