This sunburst circle piece was leftover from making Minion eyes on my other card. I knew it would be a great scrap. However, the black glimmer scrap at the bottom was a surprise. I was going to clip the edges off to get a smooth piece, but realized all those swirls left over from another project (a cursive "hi" diecut) would be great as a border on this card.
All that being said, this card is a little bit of a mixed metaphor. Everything is set up for it to be night on the card, except that it features the sun...oh well, sometimes you just gotta go with the inspiration. I can't even claim that it is an eclipse...

Oh wow this whole scene is just fabulous! What a clever idea to use up all of those left over project scraps as they worked out perfectly in this design!! I love the brightness of the colors over the black background too! Thanks for joining in my challenge!
