I've combined Wendy's challenge today with Jacqueline's Dare to Get Dirty Challenge. Wendy has challenged us to include a spotlight frame on our cards. I originally die cut a circle frame, but it was too thick and clunky, so I decided to just trace around a circle.
I really love hydrangeas and I think it's really cool how they can be either blue or pink depending on the acidity in the soil. I thought wouldn't it be cool to have them all blue except for pink in the spotlight. Yes, it is cool. Thanks for a fun challenge!

Beautiful card, Jennifer, and I do like your one pink hydrangea in the spotlight.

Cool way to spotlight with the pink inside the frame and the pale blue outside - I may have to rethink my stark B & W outside the frame and add just a hint of tint so it doesn't feel quite so bland.

Super job combining the challenges and creating this pretty card. That would be cool to have pink AND blue hydrangeas mixed together. I have a red hydrangea that I searched high and low for but it's staying pink. I figured because it was still young but I'm tempted to add something to the soil to see if it will turn more red. If that doesn't work, I'll turn it blue! Thanks for playing in my challenge!

Clever to trace instead of adding a "clunky" frame!! Those hydrangeas are just gorgeous!!
