For my background I used a piece of pink dotted paper and attached lace paper strips above and beyond.
I cut out some roses of the same paper and glued them on two corners.
I added little pearls on my shoes and glossy accents to the ribbon on the box.
For further embellishments on the shoe box, I punched out a tag of musical paper (see detail on the shoes) and made a little pink bow.

I've never bought any shoes packaged so beautifully as these in their box that is more like a hat-box. Very pretty, this has such a nostalgic old-fashioned feel to it.
