This card is for RobinÂ’s Dare To Get Dirty challenge.
This particular challenge proved to be more difficult than first anticipated. This is the first card I made for the challenge and I hated it right from the start I have had it sitting in the craft room for the past two days and then decided to throw it away. I told DH and he rescued it from the bin and said why donÂ’t you add a little colour, hence the gel pen I still hate it but DH was so determined that I shouldnÂ’t throw it away so here it is, probably a perfect example of what not to do.
You will have to play along to find out what the technique / challenge is.

Marg, Marg, Marg!!! I know you are not feeling well and perhaps the 'wow, this is fantastic' part of your brain is effected. Thank goodness your DH recognises art when he see's it. You both did great my friend.

If I hadn't read your explanation, I wouldn't even have guessed you almost threw this away! I think the metallic effect is so cool and I love that the brown coloring is not smooth. A little green and blue are a nice touch too. Thank goodness you have a husband with a good artistic eye, and saved this card! :-) Hideko
