Also, this is from the Featured Stamper Challenge – honoring Joanne/Angelnorth. I fell in love with this card from Joanne’s amazing gallery. I like how she personalized it for a math teacher with numbers in the background and her style.
Like Joanne, I used a butterfly, birthday theme and a similar design. My changes - I used different stamps, changed position and added sequins. I like how Joann shaded under her butterfly for a shadow. Since I cut off the antennas when I fussy cut out the butterfly, I stamped the same butterfly in Basic Gray (stamped off once) on the card to have a shadow and the antennas back. Then I put the cut out butterfly on top. First I curled the wings edges up for the 3-D and so the shadow would show. I used a glitter pen on the butterfly and added three sequins. Also, I liked how she rounded one corner, so I did that as well. Thanks for sharing your cards Joanne and inspiring so many more! TFL
