I'm having a blast in my craft room today. This is my third hot pink blossom for Lisa's 'Let's Heat it up' challenge. This one is coloured with Inktense Fuchsia and blended out with an SU blender pen on Strathmore mixed media vellum finish paper.
Janemom made this pretty card for the challenge today and I just love the waxed paper background so I had to give it a try. Very happy with the way it came out. The left side is shaded with Distress Mermaid Lagoon and the right side is Adirondack Stream. The waxed paper resist background background technique tutorial is here.

I'm so glad I inspired you to try this technique. Your card turned out beautiful. What a gorgeous shade of blue. It goes really well with the color of the bloom.
