Such a lovely color combo today! I hope it's ok that I added just a touch of pink for those tiny flowers.
After stamping & coloring the goldfinch (you can tell heÂ’s a he, because the females are mostly a dull olive green), I masked him then used a torn mask to cover the lower part of the layer & sponged on Distress inks on the top part. Just for fun, I splattered water across it then attached the die cut curved section w/ the Mini Scroll Heart cut out of it. I added back some of the parts you usually discard. The greeting is two images combined on a little label shape.
Thanks so much for looking! Closeups, the inside & Copic colors are on my blog: The Write Stuff
p.s. I'll apologize in advance if I don't get back to comment right away. We're moving in about a month & w/ trying to get all my upcoming releases done & packing, I'm pretty maxed out at night. Then I wake up at night thinking of things I need to do. Hate it when than happens, lol.

Wonderfully colored image and I like your use of the negative space for your die cut heart. Good luck with your upcoming move - packing up is always a daunting task made tougher when you have commitments and time constraints.

So beautiful, Julie!! The goldfinch is beautifully colored, looking handsome as ever against the blue bg! A beautiful layout with the wavy borders and die cut hear! Fantastic job putting the bits back in!
