StampinÂ’Up! Umbrella kitty card and video tutorial:
Despite the layered looks of this card it is actually quick and easy to put together. The Fox Builder punch is so versatile! You can create so many different kinds of animals with it! I like to pop up the tail and the head with dimensionals to add some depth, too.
Start with a Thick White Cardstock base. Cut the Crumb Cake layer at 5.25″ x 4″, next use the cloud diecuts that are part of the Umbrella Weather Framelits. Center the Crumb Cake layer onto the white and stamp your clouds in Pool Party ink using the die cut outs as your guide! Use the Whisper White Craft ink to stamp raindrops.
Then attach your paper strips along the left border of the card. My DSP was 1″, the Island Indigo is 1/4″, and the Dazzling Diamond strip is 3/8″. Just play and see what you like! Finally, assemble the kitty and the popped up umbrella and place on the card. I used a thin piece of the Dazzling Diamond paper to make my own handle.
And hereÂ’s the video tutorial:
