Since I need some anniversary cards, I took advantage of this pretty straightforward sketch to create one.
I used four stamps from the Stampin' Up! "Delicate Details" set to create a lace panel on Smoky Slate cardstock. I first rubbed the panel with SU's Embossing Buddy to remove static from the sheet, then arranged 4 lace stamps onto my MISTI. I inked the stamps with clear Versamark, then stamped the lace 2x for solid coverage. I removed the stamped panel from the MISTI and over a plain piece of printer paper, I poured white embossing powder, then melted the powder with my heat tool to make it hard and shiny.
This piece was glued to a piece of Basic Gray cardstock leaving a matting edge showing at the top and bottom.
I then used the soft sky blue ribbon with my E-Z Bowmaker (I'm bow making challenged) to make a double bow. I used a Mini Glue Dot to attach this to a strip of the same ribbon that I had wrapped around the assembled matted panel.
The assembled panel was then attached to the Soft Sky panel with Tombow Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue. This layered element was then glued to the Whisper White Thick Cardstock with Tombow glue as well.
My final step was to stamp the Inkadinkado anniversary sentiment on the right below the matted panel.
The card is pretty easy, and makes a nice statement for a more formal occasion. I HIGHLY suggest you use an Embossing Buddy to prevent your embossing powder from sticking inside the small openings of the stamps where you don't want it to be.

What an elegant congratulations card Donna - I love your soft coloured palette and dainty bow. Great job on lining your horizontal stamps up too - I know from experience that it's trickier than it looks! Thanks for joining us over at The Paper Players this week!

Thanks, Crafty Owl! You are right...even using the grid block on my MISTI it took a lot of finagling to line all 4 photopolymer stamps up!!! Thanks for your kind words!
