Playing with some new-to-me toys from Mama Elephant. I'm a cat lover through and through, so I simply HAD to buy this cute Cat Agenda set with matching dies. I also thought this post it note and accompanying sentiments looked to be quite versatile, so I had to pick that set up as well.
Stamped the post it note and colored with Copic markers (Y13, Y18 - Toner Gray for the clip, but I don't remember which one) Stamped the HAPPY Bday on the post-it using a dark blue inkpad from Hero Arts. Fussy cut then used a black marker on my cut edges to provide a more finished look.
Stamped, colored and die cut the kitty using Warm gray Copics. Die cut a second time on scrap card stock for added dimension.
Cut 2 Bazzill panels (Diamond Bling) - one is 3" square, the other is 4 1/16" square. Cut a second 3" square from thin cardstock for added dimension. Cut a 3 1/8" panel from black Bazzill cardstock. Cut a strip of striped DSP from the MFT stripes 6x6 pad that was part of their July release.
Decided on the position of my kitty and used glossy accents to attach to the post it. Added a pop dot half under the balloon to add stability when the card is assembled.
Assembled the card. Added Wink of Stella to the balloon for some shimmer and used a Copic multi-liner to enhance the kitty's eyes.
I love how this came out. I plan on making a few others using other sentiments and different kitties to add to my Send a Smile stash.
TFL!
