I started by stamping the image on watercolor paper and colored it with Tombow markers. I also used glitter gel pens on the flowers. Next I made the background with watercolors, mostly blues and greens – wet on wet. I had started this card thinking I would use the Watercolor Imprints technique on my background. I used a wave stencil and left it to dry along with the watercolor piece. Sadly the impression of the stencil came really dull. Once the panel was dry, I made the background with brown and black colors and used spellbinders edge die for the border. I adhered the cut margin slightly off the angle which gave the diamond shape at the borders.
Lastly used glossy accents on the sentiment die cut, teddy nose, eyes and roses.
