I made this card for the letter L alphabet challenge for lace. I made this card after watching this wonderful Elizabeth Crafts video on how to use lace to apply glitter in a stencil-like fashion: . I applied a piece of 6" wide score tape to a card panel and removed the release sheet. Then lay your lace onto the adhesive. Pour black glitter all over the lace and rub in well with your finger. Remove the lace and pour silver glitter all over the black glitter and it will fill in the vacated places where the lace just was. Rub in well with your finger and voila - you have glittered lace. This is super sparkly in real life, but is very hard to capture with a camera. I stamped, die cut, shaped and assembled the flowers and attached them to the card. This is really fun to do. Next time, I would use a piece of lace that had more of an open pattern than this piece had. Thanks for looking! ~Karen.

Lovely! Fabulous technique with the lace & glitter. It must be amazing IRL. Love the flowers and the silver trim on the banner. I like it all. Very nicely done. TFS

Lace as a stencil? What a fabulous concept. I can imagine how sparkly your card must be in real life. I see sparkle on the flower petals as well. Absolutely lovely Karen! Well done!

Beautiful card! I learned that technique some years ago but not with black glitter. I am sure this is gorgeous in real life. Cameras don't always show what we want them to show!
