MIX233 - Gingham! I dearly love gingham anything. It brings back good memories from my youth, and buttons, buttons remind me of my maternal grandmother. She had one of those round cookie tins filled with buttons from clothes that were no longer wearable. You know the tins I mean. I played in those buttons for hours! So my gingham card absolutely had to have buttons. I had this old dressmaking ephemera, and also this scissors and thread die cut that I have never used. Today it all came together. Thanks for such a fun challenge! TFL

I love your card! When we cleaned out my mother's house some years ago, I found old leather cigar boxes of lace and ribbon! It is now here in my studio. Also found hundreds of empty wooden spools as well as a ton of buttons! My mother always saved buttons! I do treasure all these things.

Love your collage of sewing elements. The papers you chose go so well with sewing...the bg looks almost like embroidery. Love the distressed, old-looking ephemera.
