Here is my card for the, CAS436, show your patriotism challenge. I started cutting my panels of navy cs, red cs, and white cs. Now, I die cut the ligthouse, the sentiment, and the roses. The flying birds, are punched scraps of navy cs . The punch is a Fiskars corner punch. I thought the scraps looked like birds in flight. Any way, next I sponged the white panel with the cloudy blue ink, and punched the corners with the same Fiskars corner punch that I used for the birds. Now, I assembled my die cut patriotic roses, and assembled the card. Now, I added white stickles to the rose petals, added the pearls for rose centers, and in the corners. I stripped scraps of navy and white cs, to make curly Q's to represent waves at the base of the lighthouse. I used a crystal bead at the top of the lighthouse, to represent the beacon of light. I had to fussy cut those tiny birds just a bit, to make them more streamlined. It's been awhile since I've made a card with this much detail, but I like how it came out. Thanks for the great challenge, and thanks for looking.

I love the way you used the patriotic colors throughout this card the way you did. Love those corners too!
