If you haven't noticed by now, I dance to a different drummer. I did use strips, but they are a little wonky, just like me!
The starting point was a negative of two die cut strips. Now these strips do not fit exactly, so I spread glitter all over to fill in the gaps. Sadly, the sun wasn't at a good angle to capture all that sparkle.
What to put atop the strips that wouldn't cover all that hard work? Butterflies, and they were just sitting there waiting to get used.
Thanks for a good challenge, Sabrina! It got rid of a bunch of strips of c/s!

Nothing wrong with dancing to a different drummer. I love your background. It's unique and creative. And, adding the pretty butterflies finishes off your card nicely! Great job.

I love your "wonky" background. What a great idea. I can see hints of the glitter in between but frankly, the card doesn't even need it. The little gaps don't take away from the impact of the technique at all. All the colors and pretty butterflies make the card awesome.

Fabulous! Like a rag-rug carpet, a little. I wish we could see the sparkle but I can imagine how good it looks. What a beautiful array of butterflies, too.
