I have combined the CC challenge with the Sketch challenge. I went up to spend last night with my Mom, we spent a good amount of time die cutting, like she needs more (her words). I am so fortunate to be able to spend quality time with my Mom.
To the card, an interesting sketch, I turned it 90 degrees. The watermelon parts are from a sheet of c/s I had around that was me just playing around with alcohol inks. There's some purple in it, so I thought it would work well.
What to put on the #6 panel, especially since it is an irregular shape. Flowers, no can do, ah, a butterfly, perfect. Stamped one on the panel and another on a scrape piece . Colored both of them and fussy cut the one on the scrap piece.
Added 2 circles punched from the red alcohol inked c/s, shaped them a little with an embossing tool.
This is pretty minimalist, but it works.

What a great card and I love your alcohol ink cardstock. It is so much fun to use. And, that is a gorgeous butterfly.

Your butterfly is exquisite, Jennifer. Such beautiful and vibrant colors. The sketch looks terrific turned 90 degrees. The mottled look of the watermelon panels adds a lovely subtle touch.
