This month's tickle celebrates the upcoming holidays in the US-Fourth of July and Canada Day-July 1st (Canada's 150th birthday!!). I associate many things with the Fourth of July....fireworks, grilling outside, hanging out with family, visiting my Grandma in WV....but the thing that immediately came to mind is the flag. I'm very patriotic and love to fly our flag....it means so much to me and I always take the opportunity to display it, especially on the Fourth of July. I love how the design has evolved with that initial circle of stars to the current 50 and the 13 stripes representing the original 13 colonies. Many have fought and died for it and I never take my flag and the freedom it represents for granted.

Clever layering of those two borders, Polly! Lovely coloring and a really sweet card!
